 Okay! Bagi sesiapa yang mengenali saya pasti tahu betapa cerewetnya saya dalam pemilihan produk lagi lagi yang berkaitan dengan kecantikan. Saya dilahirkan dengan kulit yang sensitif, Amat sensitif, when I say I have sensitive skin, girl Im not kidding. I have acne- prone, eczema and super oily skin but when its time (full moon) my skin dry, dry amat. My skin react towards everything pollution, hormones, product, sun (sun allergy) - (more reason to bring umbrella everywhere) plus living in Malaysia, WAHHHH I TELL YOU AH THE SUN AHHH LOL. Okay nak dijadikan cerita kulit saya sensitif.

I bought this product because of the ingredients and I have small pimples on my forehead (exam month masa itu) lol. Bought mine for RM81.50 during hermo sale. Normal price RM112.30 dekat hermo.

What it Claims?

It claims to helps on pigmentation to improve skin tone and texture. A daily mild exfoliator that works on the surface of skin. Safe to use for sensitive skin as exfoliator to avoid chemical exfoliate. Works for acne due to inflammation, antibacterial purpose.

How to use?
1- Wash face with face cleanser.
2- Using cotton pad, gently wipe and pat Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water on the face.

I feel like when we make a purchase there must be a reason why we spend on the product. For me, if it relate to skincare product it has to be the ingredient. Ingredient list, are one of the reason that help to make decisions. So, here's the ingredient list.

    Water, Mandelic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Beta-Glucan, Panthenol, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Sorbitol, Dimethyl Sulfone, Chlorphenesin, Sodium Citrate, Arginine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Natto Gum, Carbomer

    The Key Ingredients :- 
    1- Mandelic Acid - 
    As one of the AHA ingredients, it helps to improve pigmentation as well as to restore aged skin. It also contains anti-bacterial properties that are effective for inflammatory acne.

    2- Beta - Gluten - Moisturizing, calm redness, anti- inflammation and soothing effects.

    3- Centella Asiatica Extract - one of my favourite ingredient as it helps to regenerate damaged skin.

    Packaged in a dark orange/brown see through bottle to prevent oxidizing and it comes with reflective box as well (refer picture above) 

    Smell - Does not have any fragrance 

    Colour - No colour, it is translucent. (macam air)


    So, does Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water really helps?
    Yassss girl! Its superb! The consistency of this product is liquid (watery) easy to work with. It absorb really quick, it stays on top of skin for a couple of second before completely penetrate into/onto(?) skin. What I always do is I will wait for a couple of second and pat pat, then continue my skin routine. Overall, it will not disturb your skincare routine as it is watery so yeah. 

    My thoughts:-
    It is a good product tape you will not see the result in instant. Kene tunggu but you might see small improvement dari hari ke hari. I pakai ini as my daily toner (morning and night) , jadi lepas basuh muka, I letak/dab dab toner ini on cotton pad, selepas itu continue dengan my essence/moisturiser and sunscreen (day time only) malam pun sama.

    So far, I tak ada complain regarding this product as it really helps to improve my skin texture and ada this my time I ada jerawat on my cheek. What I do is, I take cotton pad and letak sikit Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water ini dekat jerawat I itu. I letak cotton pad tu selama 5 minit and legit did surutkan my jerawat itu. 

    Pros -
     -Brighten up skintone.
    - Uneven skintone improving.
    - Regulated my sebum.
    - It lasted quite awhile, even though I use it daily, for day and night routine.

    Cons -
    - Product can crystallize. (not sure why but make sure to close it properly) (refer picture below)

                                                  


    Price Wise - 
    I'm not sure nak cakap dia mahal ke murah sebab harga dia mahal tapi berbaloi sebab tahan lama and it works as it claims. Plus, Im a student jadi bagi I DIA MAHAL TAPI BERBALOI DUIT. 

    Would I Repurchased?
    Yes, sebab I cinta toner! Toner is my life!
